Nothing is impossible with God

SUPERNATURAL INTERVENTION!

You will arise and have mercy on Zion;
For the time to favor her,
Yes, the set time, has come. Psalm 102: 13

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

The story that came to mind, it can be found in the book of Luke 7:11-17. There was a funeral procession because a widow’s only son was going to be buried. The boy about to be buried was her only hope, so she must have concluded it was all over for her. Little did she know she was about to experience a supernatural intervention. The procession turned into a celebration when Jesus showed up on the scene – the dead boy was brought back to life.

Whenever there is a dead situation and Jesus is introduced, there is a turnaround and celebration. If it were possible to talk to the young man who was raised, we would hear his side of the story about how it felt to be raised from the dead. But since that can never happen, we can paint a picture based on what the scriptures tell us. The young man learnt, in practical terms, that with God nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37). He learnt that Jesus cares about us through and through. Like in the case of Jabez, Jesus knows how to make us not to be a source of sorrow to our families.

The widow was obviously crushed by her son’s death, but it turned out that God had a better plan: He wiped away her tears and she did not have to bury the young man.

The Bible chronicles the stories of other people who experienced supernatural interventions – Hannah, Joseph, the three Hebrew children, Elizabeth, Peter, etc. We serve the same God; if He did it before, He can do it again. Be expectant that you are next in line for supernatural intervention. Stop the funeral procession you are planning concerning anything God has promised you. Hold on to Him and you will testify in Jesus name.
